Hi All
A quick update. Its amazing but it isnt actually that hard to learn the language out here we already ordering stuff and actually getting what we ordered!
The boss of our school is being really nice and is helping us learn chinese along with her husband so basically free tuition!
We are off to see Taipe on Sunday so will hopefully find Eric Lo and Master He, fingers crossed I get to Taipei.

We have arrived!
Hi all!
We have arrived safely! It is Asia so of course things didnt go quite according to plan with the pick up then other technical bits that weren't passed on from our recruiter like we dont have the money for a massive deposit on a flat!
Teaching started yesterday with Tanya getting thrown in then it was my turn today, it really is alot of preparation work and they like to get as much out of you as they can so any one wanting to do TEFL check all the forums carefully as there are some real nightmare schools out here thankfully ours is not one of them though we have got a quite full on 'Shaw Brother' Kung Fu style boss who is very vocal! Its alllllll good though and the bottom line out here is that there are so many jobs you can shop around.
More important news is this weekend is the first visit to Taipei to see some Martial Arts we will be visiting Eric Lo he is well known for Gao Style Bagua and Hsingyi.
More soon and some pictures when we can afford a camera.

Hi Everyone!
This is the first step for Tanya and I on our adventure out to the East. For those of you that know me well you will know that I have always gone on about Asia everything from Tibetan Monks and Light body to the twisting and turning of Bagua.
Well now its time for us to live the dream and spend time with the people we have read about all these years. Our first stop is Taiwan where I want to spend time in one art hopefully Hsing Yi and complete what I started 14 years ago. From here we have many destiantions in mind and want to see some of the magical places that have been described to me over the years by friends and teachers.
Instead of sending lots of emails with big attachments this will be the main source for updates on our adventure though of course we wont be able to resist the emails and IM as well for general chit chat.
